The internet is in danger of
100% privatization. Websites like this one will be virtually worthless to
maintain if we continue to do nothing.
The major
Internet Service Providers of the world are working on making the shift
to subscription based internet services that would ultimately do away
with "Ineternet Neutrality" all together.
A
subscription based service
would require customers to pay higher monthly fees for access to a larger
amount of popular mainstream websites and even higher fees for websites
like this. With a service system such as that, Net Neutrality
would be non-existent. Doing away with Net Neutrality would mean
ISP's could direct top-speed bandwidth at the highest paying
websites leaving websites such as this one in the dark.
This could be a reality as early as 2012 if we continue to do nothing about
it. Along with companies such as The News Corp. that owns MySpace,
the homogenization of the internet is inevitable.
TAKE
ACTION!
Through the Concrete Records
as a record label does not use MySpace. Many punks and radical and
progressive minded people speak of dismantling and boycotting the mainstream
concentrated media but cancel out their own actions by using MySpace.
MySpace is owned and operated by Rupert Murdoch's "The News Corporation."

Spoonboy and educate yourself. Please!
Outside
research is encouraged!!

We've got an entirely brand
new website!
5.27.08
The new website will be much easier to
use and much easier to
update. Therefore, it will be
updated. The Music page, Insurgent Me
page, and Contact page are the only sections
functioning at the
moment -- everything else will be working soon enough.
You can contact Insurgent Me and Through
the Concrete Records
through the Contact section of this website.
Also, at the moment you can download (for free) Insurgent
Me's
"Sometimes It's Not What You Create That Gives You
the Answer, But
What You Destroy!" from their section of this
website or send $5 via
snail-mail to Through the Concrete for a hard copy
of the album
containing inserts, lyric booklet, and really rad
artwork.
You can also buy it from: Incest Records and The Cottage
Records.
New Song:

Documentary \ Music
6.28.08
Kevin Bond has begun writing for a short
documentary which he plans
to start shooting by the end of the
summer. The documentary is in
response to the overall laziness of
the progressive and radical minded
youth of today and how such
apathy will certainly kill us all.
A miscillaneous
music section has been added to the website.
